I'd go with TDR reeds (BBC Sponsor and highly recommended from Don Weed). Also, look into a 24P LaserII or a Trophy Plus - 23 or 24P depending on your WOT RPM.

I have same rig except 2010 200 pro xs. Have you run anything but the Fury? I am running a 26p Tempest but would like to try the Fury. Seems to turn well on the Z7 w/ 200.

I haven't tried any other props yet. I have a buddy who is going to let me borrow his 26 tempest plus that has been worked. He said it isnt in 100% condition but I'm still going to try it. What kind of lift are you getting with the tempest?

Thinking of buying a 1014 Z8 is there a fix for the chine walking, or does everyone just drive through it?? I've owned skeeters, and you never had a problem with chine walk, you just rode in the boat. they have priced themselves out of my ball park !!

    2014 Z7, Mercury ProXS 175HP
    No JackPlate, 3.5" below pad
    24" Tempest WOT@5700RPM
Normal load, 1/4 tank gas, lots of gear and my fat ass
Got it to 66.7MPH GPS before chinewalk made me panic and slowed it down. Positive with light load it and better driver would do 70MPH.

    Bought 2003 901CDX with a 200hp 3.0 merc optimax. has a 10" manual jackplate and a 24p 4-blade prop that came with the motor.
Drove it for the first time yesterday got ~60mph out of it.
Guys if you can throw some tips at me on what the best rig up would be for it, i cant let my buddy in his 01 champion 193 and a 01 200 merc blow me out the water anymore.
send me an email at ballplayer9009@yahoo.com

try a 25p or 26p and you will see more top end.....................

get a hydraulic jackplate............ don't fill the gas tank up, don't keep too much crap in the boat.

and my last tip to share with you is don't brag about how fast your boat is, but you can brag about how dry the ride is and how smooth it is in rough water...
