Got around to doing mine. Went with an 18"x 24"x 1" white cutting board off of Amazon. Trimmed the 18" down to sit flush with the edge and included the angle of the rear wall. Added 3M 6"x 24" "Stair Strips" and replaced the torn livewell handles with a button kit from Home Depot and lengths of excess transom strap. Just need a finishing strip for the carpet line.

Thinking about painting it with the DuPont paint (above) to have it look like fiberglass. For now, it's good.

Are there any photos Nitros new center seat option when you order a new boat? You can have a carpeted step with embroidery instead of the center seat!

Is that aluminum thickness strong enough to hold someone?

Replaced the middle seat in my 2013 Nitro Z9...

    Thanks Iguana Grafix

Replaced the middle seat of my 2013 Nitro Z9. Iguana Grafix was very helpful and understanding throughout the whole process. Very quick to respond to all my questions and concerns. Thanks a million. Looking forward to our next project...

and for the great work and effort on this little fellow. Had to move a Rigid light down on my console. It is so bright it blinded my partner at night. Used this piece of aluminum I cut out to cover the holes left over from moving the light. However, the Rigid light is still too bright. Can do surgery in the boat at night.

You have to take out the rear plastic containers then reach in, there are nuts tucked nicely in a hard to reach place

I made this this weekend. I'm working on the back now to cover up the holes, but the step is almost done. The glue is curing right now so I can't fully mount it. I'm going to make a how-to video on my youtube channel soon. I haven't checked the footage yet but I hope it turned out good. I decided not to use the resin to cover up the wood and I didn't paint it either. I sanded the edges of the wood to make it a little smoother and to hopefully protect the carpet from wearing a little bit. I used 3/4" pressure treated plywood covered up with good ol' Lowes outdoor carpet. Color is pretty close. It's a little darker, but the darker Lowes carpet matches my seats so I like it. The wood should last a good many years and when it goes bad, I'll just replace it with a new one. Didn't take long at all. Hope to get the video edited and posted soon.

Here's the How-to Video. Hope this helps somebody.

The center seat has gotten to be a pain so I took some time this weekend to get rid of it. The inside dimensions are 17 1/4 x 14 1/2. The depth is 3" in the front tapering to 5" to the back. It will be nice having a handy spot to put wallet, phone, etc. without stuffing them in cup holders or wherever.

So I finally got sick of the middle seat in my 2013 Z7. It never got used, so I started a seat delete mod today. I really like what Biggest bass did with his, so mine will be based mostly on that. If it looks even HALF as good, I'll be happy. I'm doing a video as I go along, so I'll post that up for those interested.

Pull out your back compartment totes. Get a flashlight and look behind the seat. You will find a couple of nuts...
