    Railings bent

Daughter went under a low bridge with the folding top up and bent all of the rear railings. The boat shop the boat came from said they couldn't get the replacement rails and skins. They want to sale me a new boat. Has anyone bought railings from the company's on the internet that sells them. Thanks for any help. (2003 Harris Sunliner)

Check with PontoonStuff.com to see what they have. GreatLakesSkipper.com has been known to have pontoon parts on their lot in Racine, WI.

Your boat is too new to just scrap. You might want to measure the size of your tubing before you start looking. Sometimes a good welding shop can cut out the 1 1/4" anodized tubing and replace some of it--rebuilding your old fencing. And once the fencing is all fixed, they can re-skin the fencing. The hard thing is removing all the old fencing--requiring removal of all seating and the trim around the deck. Then you can reach under the fencing to remove the nuts and bolts holding the fencing on.
