Hi, looking for explanation of the manual fuel tank selector switch.
has “main” “Aux” and “off”
1 I assume that the “off” shuts all fuel off to the engine … correct?
2. I see only one 40 ish gallon tank , is aux a separate tank or is it a lower pickup tube and gauge?
When I put fuel in thru the drivers side cap it registers on the dash gauge when aux is selected.
When I put fuel in thru the passenger side gas cap if registers on the dash gauge when main is selected.
1. Correct, off is off
2. The Aux tank was under the seats on the boats with an Aux tank option. It was 18 gal on Champ. Main tank is the one in the back of the boat.
3. Looks like the split was Main=42, Aux=20
Thanks for the response. I lifted up the seat cushions and there are stickers saying “Do not drill fuel cell below”. So my boat probably has the same fuel tank set-up as the Champions. Thanks
