My partner doesn't pay for any thing. She says its my job to take care of the $$ it cost to fish. But she sure has been a Great partner for 32+ years.

I never take money even in a Pro/Am.
I'd still be out there with or with out company.
If I invite someone to go fishing, I pay for the gas and oil. I was going anyway. Sometimes they might pick up lunch or breakfast. If I am fishing a team tourney then we split expenses and winnings.
My EX partner and I were splitting it 100/0 .

Fun fishing...not a biggie. Maybe offer to buy lunch.
Team tournament where we'd split the winnings 50/50, we should be splitting the costs 50/50 as well.

My partner pays tournament entry and I pay gas and oil
I don't expect gas money, put wiping down the boat, cleaning the carpet, cleaning the seat and glass on finders and windshield. bringing coffee and donuts. Lunch sandwich and drinks. Staying in the back of the boat. Not touching the switches. Also retying my line when I break off is a must. Oh and cleaning the trailers and tires, along with getting the trailer.
Im going fishing anyway.
Oh and if we win I get all earnings for the gas!!!
Fun fishing is just that. I wouldn't invite someone to fish with me if I didn't like them. They ride for free unless it's all the time and they never invite me, then I have been known to ask for a few bucks, especially if I have to haul the rig a ways and pick them up.
On tournaments my co-angler will pay the entry fee and we split any winnings 50/50.
We always split. We usually go in my boat as it's 30 mph faster and rides better, but we also know when needed we go in his boat. We consider ourselves a team, meaning everything is split.

Missed that part. 1 MPG means something is wrong with that motor. I still get over 4 mpg running in the 80's, and nearly 6 mpg from 45 to 75 mph.
In my club some guys want/expect a lot. I fish as a boater and rider so my perspective is different because I know what it actually cost to run the rig. For me personally I don't ask or expect it, but if offered $20 is all I'll take. Just help wipe down the boat and clean up your mess.
The guy that fishes with me buys us both a biscuit on the way and then a late lunch when we get back. Total, he spends $15-20 each time we go. He offers to buy gas but I won't let him. I think he does enough.

I fish clubs as a boater and larger txs as a co. During club events my partner and I leave with full tanks and when return refill them and split the cost. Usually during bfl's I will give my boater $20-40 depending on how much he runs. I have had bad experiences tho with boaters. In a regional a few yrs back after weightin I went to get my rods out of the boat and my boater put his feet on my rods and demanded $40 for gas before he let me get my stuff. We only ran maybe at most 6 miles all day. After him cussing me all day then that crap I just have it to him to get away. If it wouldn't have been for getting dq'ed that a hole wouldn't have been able to stand on that leg again for awhile
