That's as stupid as not having KVD in the classic .

So you think it's stupid to let anglers who qualified for the classic to be able to fish it? You think kvd should have been able to fish it even if he doesn't qualify?

Yes every past champion should be in the classic , you'll never grow the event without that respect of the past . There's enough room for plenty of the flat brim boys without leaving the ones that did so much for the sport .

I don't want to grow the sport. There's enough of us out there as it is.

Maybe this is true. If this problem is now occurring, then one must have to think that it is the new comers to the hobby causing the issues.

I agree. Grew up BASS fishing in Alabama, watching Clunn, Parker, Mann, etc. All these new comers always complaining. Just fish and abide by rules you agreed to. Now, if you stop allowing the Open event winners in the Classic, BASS will go down. They pissed me off when they took the non-boater away. FLW flourished because of that decision...

I disagree, FLW now looks even more minor league because they still allow co's/amateurs on tour events.

I thought the same thing. But, he's not on the list of competitors.

I've said it before...This is NOT and Elite series event...it is a B.A.S.S.event. Consider it the U.S. Open of Bass fishing
