How much longer is the patent on Power poles good for? Pricing reflects monopoly.

I can't wait for the day that a reasonably priced set of similar anchors comes out. There is no reason for them to be more than $5-800 each.

You are paying for much more than the value of materials. For one, you are paying for some of the best customer service in the business. They are some of the best dollars spent for my rig and wouldn't be without them.

If you buy blades, a bracket to hang it on and have a professional install them it's at least 2Gs all day.

Think of how much you'll like them when you can buy them for $500.

That isn't a new model is it? Cheaper probably because they are getting ready to discontinue it!

I'll hazard a guess that the prices are what they are because their operations are a result of everything being in the USA. They could probably drop the price considerably by farming out manufacturing, customer support, distribution and some other stuff to some Third World shithole. And then you can bitch and moan about that instead.

That's a good point !!! I would pay more for an American made product , especially if workers are making a good wage .

I'll pay whatever they cost. I've been a customer for 7 years and will NEVER own a boat without them.

A design patent is 14,, a Utility patent is 20.

Now there's some sense right there! Also, I checked on this a while back and unless I read something wrong the patent ran out in 2014. Again, I could be wrong on that.
