    2016 ProcCraft 186

You read right. Bass Pro makes one a year to retain rights and patents to ProCraft. Ran across the 1 for this year year and had the salesaman send me some pics. Price tag is 30k w/ the 150 ProXS. Looks like a Nitro Z hull and has the Z 19 consoles for sure. Either way neat to see a 1 of a kind boat.Figured you guys would enjoy this too.

That is cool, but its just a Nitro with a Procraft sticker on it . They need to pop one out of and old Procraft mold. Kinda reminds me of the Stratos sticker on the Champ deal.

Yeah I would love to see them pop out a 1992-1994 180 Pro or 200 Pro, those boats were way ahead of their time and have better lines than most boats made to this day . Not to mention the deep V hull and great ride

yes that would be a great idea to bring them back, a fast great ride and could add some more modern storage and accessories

That is a good looking boat. I wonder if getting insurance for it would be difficult?

I would say that the Pro Craft decals look better than the huge Z7-Z8-Z9 on the back. If I were to ever purchase a Nitro, I would peel them off as soon as I got home.

So how is it a procraft, its a nitro. What kinda weird clause do they have that they must build one a year to retain name rights and patents. Anyone know what patents are, seems I heard it being something about the way the hull is manufactured.

Not a patent issue but a trademark issue. If they don't use it for a period of time it is considered abandoned and anyone can use it. Production of 1 a year is defense of their trademark.
