    Current USDM Steez SV

Anyone have any experience with this reel? Thoughts on it?

Have three of the 8 ratios, love em. Brass gears (in that specific gear ratio only I think) make them feel really sturdy despite the zaion body parts (which some people say can feel hollow but I don't think so) combined with the sv spool lets you fish finesse or heavy cover or anything in between. I prefer the older knob style but these paddle ones aren't too bad I guess. So far so great.

Next up for me is the SV103!

Got the 6.3 ratio. Great reel. Smooth and light. Of course I tricked mine out a bit with an RCS SV spool, but overall I am very happy with it for $250.

One is being used for weightless or 1/4 weighted wacky w/ 6lb. Flouro, works great with the SV spool. Another is throwing football jigs on 17 lb flouro, the quick pick up is awesome for that. The last one I'm still deciding where it will fit into my line up, probably flipping Texas and jika rigs into sparse to heavy cover probably go 50lb braid on it. I haven't found a weak spot with them yet except maybe throwing like smaller jointed swimbaits on heavy like 20 or 25 mono or flouro just because that spool isn't really meant for that kind of fishing
