    Pretty neat Panoptix snapshot

Was passing under a bridge yesterday and viewing my PS-30. I thought it was pretty neat the way it outlined the cross-members.

    Donnie,
Can you explain to me what I am looking at here? No idea what Panoptix is other than forward looking sonar.

Eric, My Panoptix is a PS-30(Down Looking). I passed under a bridge and the Panoptix picked up the cross members of the pier. I think the beam will reach out approximately 14' on each side..This was a still image. It is impressive when recorded via iPhone..Real time..Love watching my jig while jigging for crappie..

Donnie, amigo. If you just sat there still, could you watch fish swim in & out of the cone?

Im a bit late on this post, but I just recently got Panoptic and I'm still learning all the functions. I have the forward looking Panoptix, but I can NEVER see my lures, much less a crappie jig. Although my Garmin is only a 7in screen, I should be able to see it. Can you give me some pointers on the setup so I can also see my baits? Thanks!

My PS21 forward I can see a large slow sinking bait like a Senko about 30'.

Also a crank when it is very near the boat and coming up out of the water.

    Coach I don't have a PS-21, but my understanding the PS-31 is more powerful=sensivity

Monte working with the PS-31 pointed back off the transom, so far can see a trolled crankbait at 70' to 80' experimenting with transducer setting angles now.
