Merc EFI VST question
Hello....
I'm trying to get a 2001 Merc 200XL EFI running for a friend that has not used the boat in 5 years...
I rigged up a 6 gal tank with oil added and a new fuel line to the fuel pump. I replaced the spin on fuel filter and verified that the pump works by turning over the motor to fill the filter before tightening it up. The vst had no pressure using a fuel pressure gauge. I took apart the vst and it looked like someone was making chocolate pudding inside. Ordered new pump and filter. Found check valve on bottom of vst plugged where oil comes in. Installed new check valve. Now getting fuel pressure but still wont run. Getting spark but no trace of fuel in cylinders. Suspect clogged injectors. Any advice on cleaning fuel system between vst pump and cylinders?

The ECU controls the fuel pump thru the ground circuit
