Anyone ran the alumaducer with a lowrance gen3

did you ever get a reply to your question? i am also looking at an Alumaducer to add to my HDS7 Gen 3 but cannot find anything on the web to whether they are good with this unit or not.

It is a 2D only transducer that you purchase with a sonar brand adapter to match your sonar unit. No different than connecting a built-in transducer in a trolling motor. Your Gen 3 Lowrance does 2D sonar--"it ain't complicated". The sonar brand itself is irrelevant as far as how it performs, it's the frequency.
