    Not your Daddy's Ranger

Numbers from today...................I feel confident that I could have gotten to 78, but run out of room to run in the river. Everything is bone stock on boat and engine. Turning a 26" Fury with (3) additional 1/4" vent holes behind the factory PVS holes in the wheel. Like driving a new boat. Boat had 3/4 tank of fuel and full tx. load and the boat also has twin 8' blades. No speed demon, but damn good for a Ranger. Boat is a 2015 Z520C and engine is a 250 ProXs. I was running the boat at 3.5 on the Atlas tape and 11 on the guage. For all the naysayers that may pop up; I have 2 hours of video playing with the boat to get it set up today...............I am liking this boat Sirs........................RR

Here is a video link from today..............Rough ride for a bit in middle of the video...............dang cow was in the water and waves from him surprised me................video looks rougher than it was. I had a good time working on the setup today.......................RR

Holy cow, those are some awesome numbers. You got that bad boy figured out. I hope to hit 70 with two Talons on my 2008 Z520 and Evinrude 250 ETEC HO. I'm at 68 right now, but still playing with the jack plate height. I'm running a 26 pitch Raker II prop turning around 5750 rpms. But you got that thing figured out for sure.

Full livewells? I know it is possible. I can get 77.1 out of mine by myself but not when I fill the livewells. I have gotten 74 with my son and I and fish in the Wells. But that was in the winter. Cannot turn enough once it warms. I have only ran a 25 fury.

I know that he is; Heck, he is the one that prompted me to get off my arse and set up this boat. He and Wyatt blew by me at Table Rock and I didn't like it. I was running my Bravo..................damn good prop, but not fast........................RR
