Guys the pics in this thread are of my panels that I got back from K and K this week. I cant get a before pic to upload but I sent to K and K and asked him to attach to this thread. The picture looks awesome but these look way better in person. My old ones were fading and the clear coat was peeling off and now they look new again. I couldn't be happier. In my opinion this is one of the cheapest upgrades you can do to make a big difference in the overall look of your boat.

I have a couple of panels that are cracked around the screw hole. yes, it's my fault. I knew better and I still tighten the screws down too tight.do you think it would be possible for me to repair the panels and then have them hydro dipped? it's just too small panels. Actually it's the exact same to panels better picture above. The 2 panels on the far right. The rest of mine all in perfect shape. I don't think they are actually broken all the way through. just cracked

Is the hydro dipping very durable as to resist scratches.

Im glad you asked....It is the same as the paintjob on your new car, same as the camo finish on any new atv or utv sold, same as the finish on any new camo'ed bow or gun. ( we do some large manufactuers guns). Same as the woodgrain, or carbon accents on the interior of every vehicle sold since the late 60's., and im finding wayyy better then the finish on these Rangers...my guess is the company Ranger had doing there woodgrain were not using a good uv resistant clear. I could go on and on. I tell everyone you already own at least 5 items that have been hydrodipped and you never knew it or stopped to think about it. Plastic that looks like wood...hydrodipped. ...that camo flashlight..hydrodipped. your sunglass frames that have camo hydrodipped. Your camoed utv or atv...yup hydrodipped.... Woodgrain in your bassboat or car... hydrodipped. In most cases our finishes are better then older parts as we ( and other companies) are using the latest advancements in clearcoats with uv protection. Check out this video to save time start at about the 10 min mark... and yes this is one of our customers jobs he mntions us in the beginning if you skipped ahead..

I went for the Full Monty. Not only did we do the wood grain pieces but we did all of the bezels and trim. If I could get the screw out it went to K and K. Link below. I just got them back and unboxed. Will post pictures after the winter storm subsides and I get the stuff installed.

I hydrodipped plastic Bow panel, dash switch panels. Made new Console dash out of aluminum to remove a couple of gauges and hydrodipped it

I installed my panels back in early April and used the boat several times a week all summer. I must say I am impressed as they still look like the day I got them back from k and k. This is a fairly simple upgrade that will change the overall appearance of your boat.
