    What oil are you running?

I did my first service on the the E-Glide since I got it. I went with Amsoil Synthetic in all three. Everything I read about it was great reviews. What are you all using.

I put regular HD 20-50 in the engine for my 5k change. Went with some Mobil 1 V-Twin 20-50 in the engine at 10K. Regular HD Primary/Trans fluid in the primary at that time also. Bike is 2014 ULTRA.

Mobil 1 or Harley's syn3. I don't care for amsoil, I've replaced three cranks because of amsoil. It's too slick if that makes sense. It gets past the rings and forms carbon deposits on the crown of the piston which makes contact with the head, which isnt good. Over time it knocks the rods out. This is only speculation on my part, only a theory. Don't go all crazy saying I'm bashing amsoil, cause I'm not. I've replaced cranks that have been run on all types of oil. In my personal bike I run syn3 in the engine, formula plus in the primary, and bel-Ray gear saver in the tranny.

HD Synthetic everywhere on this one. I've ran Amsoil with great success in the past as well.

You owe it to your tranny to try redline with shockproof. Makes the shifting butter smooth for longer than the syn-3 did. Reduces clunk in there significantly.
