Thumbs Up 2016 X-17 Pro? Anybody have one or seen one?

I'm really interested in this boat, but other that what Xpress has published I haven't seen anything else? I haven't even seen any for sale?

What I'm wondering is: 1) I'm 6'1' 195lbs, will I be able to stand up and fish from the front deck? Is there enough room? Stable enough? 2) What size motor do you have? What is your top speed? Best cruising speed?

    Thanks

There were 2 at the La Sportsman Show last weekend. They are WIDE in the front and in the back.

the front deck is plenty big enough.

I'm 6,1 bout 220, the deck is a good size for me. I got Yamaha 115 4-stroke. Tops out around 52-53

Thanks Fella's. I wish I would have gone to that show it was just a few miles down the road. The X17 is probably not in the cards for me this year, but hopefully next year. Till then the ol 14' bateau will have to do.

My 2012 X17 with 115 Yamaha has an 85 or so inch beam versus the 95" beam of the 2016 and is almost 200 pounds lighter as the new model is made of .125" material versus the .100" of my boat. You should have no problems with fishing deck which will probably be a bit wider than mine and its never been an issue for me. My top speed is the same 52-53.5 mph loaded with me and all my gear. Drops to 48 with my buddy and his gear and since he and his gear add about 250 pounds it should represent about the same difference in weight as between the older boat and new model.

Shelby Shores Marine in Alabama has a beautiful blue X17Pro.

I too am very interested in a 2016 17Pro also. That .125 is the way a aluminum bassboat should be especially on Lake Onterio, it's bays and the Finger lakes imo. This is the rig I'm eyeing up as a retirement boat

Anybody buy the X17 in the last couple of years? I can’t make up my mind which boat to buy..(I’ve looked at several) ...Boat buying is harder than buying a truck!
