Maturity Date 2111

Had some free time today so I was looking over some bonds for sale. They had a railroad company that had a bond out there that matures in 2111. These must be for institutions to buy because if I got something like that then my unborn grandkids would be gettin that on maturity. Thought it was a little humorous to see one with that kind of maturity date.

Thats pretty funny. Our financial system could be a totally different system by then. The world could be a totally different place. We might be all socialist next year
