    I also use a home carpet cleaner, but, I am taking mine to stanley steamer next week, he says he can make it look new for a hundred bucks, we will see.....

    I have noticed, when I at one time used fabric softener on my shop towels, it greatly reduced the wicking action on the towels, resulting in just moving, the moisture, instead of wicking it up. Is that a good thing or a bad thing when using it on boat carpet? I’m not being critical, just asking.
