Something around that Chris. Scott sent it to me to try and he said he was trying to get some more pitch out of it.

Thanks Chris. I might come back and mess with it if I have some time? That one runs like it is on rails as well, very stable locked in feel to it.

I ran the 30 bravo 1 with 8-pvs, first run was with no plugs, boat bogged and took forever to come out of the hole. Second attempt plugged 4 pvs Was ever worse, third attempt removed 2-plugged holes with 4-with 3/4 plug, ran better but once boat fall over would rev to 5700 before hooking up. Thinking maybe I need to try the pro max.

300xs with 1.75 gears. Looking for great holeshot and not too worried about top end.

    Any suggesting? Thanks in advance

Probably need to have the prop worked for hole shot. How did it run once on plane. I run a 300xs/1.75 (currently) with my 28p hydro q4xob. I ran 88.5 at 6350 2 days ago going fishing. The motor spools up to about 5500rpm and goes. I will put my 30p q4xob on for Wed's tournament and run low/mid 90's at around 6100 rpm with the same spool up. This is solo. Were never looking for max top end as it takes a 32p or bigger but it sure is fun running 25/30 mph faster than the other tourny rigs getting to the start spot. Some think you cut them off because you passed them getting to the spot first.

Did you have it buried? Bravo's holeshot better when high, not buried.

I start the day at about 1.5" above the pad and go from there depending on conditions and what I am doing.

Edit my promax is a 28 not a 29. I am not SS and have the adaptor conversion for the sportsmaster which adds a little legnth to the 20in mid.
