    One to share

Here's a pic or two I took yesterday. The first one I'm not quite sure what I'm seeing, other than that they're fish. The second one is a slam dunk. Ironically, no game fish anywhere near this enormous ball of bait.

Very long and skinny, yes? But as far as I know, no Asian carp in western Lake Erie. Could be regular old carp or drum, but if they were drum (sheephead), I'd have caught them, as I'm the sheephead master! Might be gar, too. We see those in the early spring where the water is just warming up.

It's been awhile since I caught an ol' sheep shankle! Caught plenty of them fishing Dunkirk on Erie.
