Love it! Best hole shot and mid range and top end 84 Mph at 5800 1/2 tank fuel and loaded to fish!

Ive put em on a couple rangers and they are beasts. Very satisfied owners. I wouldnt have one myself especially on a performance boat and think theyre uglier than a 70's chrysler or 80's force. Ill revamp that to say if i wasnt an evinrude tech and had to pay to have it worked on i wouldnt have one. They are a marvel of engineering and are top notch quality on every aspect of the motor. But the days of just swinging in to your dealer to have something simple fixed while you wait is over. And i dont trust the steering just yet myself. But past all that BRP has really overengineered everything on em and they ought to be very good motors. They sound wicked too.

I hear they are great out of the hole? Not sure that their lower end can handle the bigger props? I would rather have a Sportsmaster on my Bullet if running over 80 mph.

I know a guy that runs a 250 on a 21XRD. He said the torque is unreal with the G2, blows away the 250SHO. He said it would run in the ballpark of 80 I believe tournament loaded.

Digital Steering is a NO NO I'm my book. I want solid motor mounts and stiff steering over 75mph.

I agree totally!!! My son and I were at the Hartford (Conn.) Boat show over this past weekend looking at the G2's...and the salesman was NOT convincing me on that steering!!!!
