    Bluewater LED nav lights on aluminum

    just wondering if anyone has put bluewater nav lights on a aluminum boat? i just received them today, looking for advise on any specific prep work or just any advice. i had them on my glass boat i used to have. just wasn't sure about this. thanks mike

    What kind of boat do you have? That determines more I think of the type of install needed. I did a writeup when i did my Tracker this may help.

    04 odyssey and it doesn't have any kind of plastic rub rail, all metal.

    Thanks for the help guys, well I'll post a pic monday. It turned out nice i couldn't recess the lights because it's all aluminum , there is no plastic rubrail . So i just cleaned the area with some alcohol and stuck them on .that 3m adhesive is very good stuff. They aren't going anywhere. Thanks again everyone.

    I bought a set from academy that had a tract to put the strips inside of and screwed it to the bow.
