I have a 2000 Hydrabass 1700 with a 90 Merc on it. I like it. It is light and the wind will blow it around like a jon boat lol but it rides good and fishes good. No complaints.

I have an 85 with a 90 Johnson. It only ha the plugs changed in it 1 time in the entire life of the boat, nothing else. Less than 1 cup of water gets in it on an entire day of fishing. Awesome oat, its just short on storage.

They are short on storage. I built a deck extension on mine and it made a world of difference.

I’m currently restoring a 1986 Hyrabass 150. I eliminated the front livewell to allow for a larger fishing deck. Huge diferance. I’m struggling what motor size. It’s rated for 115 max but I think I’m going to go with a Evenrude 90hp Ho.
    Many thoughts on the motor?
