Virb X vs. XE

Hi,

When I get my Garmin electronics installed this spring, I'm thinking of adding a camera. What has changed between the Virb X and XE? Will these integrate with the 7600 series head units? I have a chance to get an X quite cheap....

I dont know about the differences between those cameras, but there is a long section in the 76xx manual about VIRB cameras and how to connect them, control them etc from the 76xx plotters.

Thanks Larry....yeah, I saw that in the manual and it was making me lean toward a Virb vs. a GoPro....not sure of pros/cons of each in this environment. I'd like to put 7608s on both console and bow, but may lean toward 7607s for the price difference. I thought I read the 7608 has additional functionality that the 7607 didn't have relative to the Virb, but I can't remember what it was....

I just got my Virb e last week. I really like it so far. I did a test run Sunday. If you want to view it, go to Facebook and search Jon Kindlesparger. The video is better if you click HD but still not as good as it showed up on my computer. I am really going to like this.
