Any Bitcoin fans on the BBC? I was reading how some people don't like to use Paypal and was wondering if Bitcoin has made any appearances on the Swap forums.

I haven't seen anybody using Bitcoin as a form of payment on the Swap forums.
What is it? Got to google...
First I heard of it was a couple days ago when "pharma bro" (the douche that marked up the HIV meds by 700%) lost $15 million in bitcoins.

The new world currency.
I first heard of it right after April 15, 2011 when the DOJ shut down all of the real money online poker sites in the US. Lots of people were talking about any new sites playing for Bitcoin. I don't think that ever materialized.
"The man of system is apt to be very wise in his own conceit; and is often so enamored with the supposed beauty of his own ideal plan of government that he cannot suffer the smallest deviation from any part of it…He seems to imagine that he can arrange the different members of a great society with as much ease as the hand arranges the different pieces upon a chessboard.” Adam Smith, The Theory of Moral Sentiments
They say the bitcoin is untraceable. Their is a computer hacker that got into a hospitals system and demanded ransom be paid for him to open the computer back up. He wanted it paid in bitcoin so he couldn't be tracked.

I think the bitcoins are used a lot in underground operations and dark net.
I was told if I sent one bit coin to an embedded address they would not share my Ashley Madison info with my facebook friends Considering the cost of a bit coin (I googled the value) and the fact Im single I figured it couldn't end all that bad

Investopedia July 29, 2019. Currently, the value of all the Bitcoin in the world is $41 billion, roughly the net worth of Google co-founder Larry Page.
I would like to be the one who got the 41 billion dollars. So far no one can tell me who that is.
