Would like a black background like this. Black saves on battery life and this is easy on the eyes.

Sure hope Garmin updates HomePort for use with the 2019 G3 LakeVÜ map.
I found HomePort useful for armchair scouting with the G2 map I downloaded from my sv+ head. Sure would like to do that with the G3 map.
Hope & Pray............
The ability to divide the screen in half horizontally on the echomaps. For say side view on the top and livescope on the bottom.
My wife asks if I'm going to fish every day. I can't fish every day. Some days I might be sick.
I will try that LWINCHESTER. Never even thought I could make my own. Thanks I will try that.
The ability to open our own map data from other sources, such as Reefmaster. Have the ability to review sidescan and sonar data off the water.
It would be good to update the software to make the original panoptix (PS-31) look like the more modern clear view/down view, even though it wouldn't be as goo as livescope. It would cover more area and be easier to interpret. Looks like Lowrance is doing it with their Livesight (seems like panoptix tech ).
LWinchester, In post 188 you said that there was a way to split the screen in half horizontally. I Don't think the echomap93sv has that option. I did try but if I can be done I cannot figure it out.
Sorry to put you to that trouble. I think you are right. When I went back and looked at some screenshots where I thought I had done that, I was wrong. It was a three panel with a small vertical column on the left and then the remainder split horizontally. Good catch and suggestion.
My wife asks if I'm going to fish every day. I can't fish every day. Some days I might be sick.
Sorry LWINCHESTER, The layout of the panels is what I am talking about. Two panels, one on top the other on the bottom. I think that maybe you can do this with the other more pricey units. Not on the echomaps that i am aware of. You can have two panels but they are side by side.
The ability to connect to Merc's Vessel View bluetooth for display on screen.
HELM syncronization for Echomap Plus
Sonar recording view as Screen, the HomePort playback are different...
Panoptix and UHD compatibility without BlackBox for Echomap Plus
MENU BUTTON for unhidden hidden menu bar
2x Screen protector as original in box accesories
Offline offset-time progressive correction for tide in Quickdraw contours
Third party maps support and free lifetime upgrades un Garmin Bluecharts
Now with the v8.3 out, the option to choose from different background images, give us the choice to upload our own background images.

"Start New Trail/Track" without having to save your current track, save your waypoints, delete everything, and reload everything. I like a new trail for every new day on the lake.
How about a zero forward/backward line only on livescope since the screen changes shape with depth?

I would like to have the ability to turn on/off the display of individual tracks. Also the ability to stop/continue recording of an individual track. We currently only have the ability to turn on/off all tracks or turn on/off individual colors. This is a real pain.
