Amazing job on the restore! Have to ask about the fenders as well.....I noticed some Herculiner on the floor in the background of one of the pictures. Did you just do the fenders with it? If so, how is it holding up? My 1989 trailer could use some attention and I was thinking of doing my entire trailer with it. What do you think thT would look like? I've heard some say that it's hard to keep dust, dirt from collecting on trailer. Any thought you could share would be greatly appreciated. Again, congrats on a tremendous job on the boat.

    Thanks Ebeagles.
I used the herculiner on an old set of fenders that I did not put on the boat because they were to narrow. Here are a couple pics of the old herculiner fenders that have been sitting in the 110 degree sun for a few months and they seem to be holding up very well. That stuff is super tuff as long as you put it on correctly. As far as the dirt, yes it does seem to collect dirt and hold on to it with all the ridges and such but can can be washed up nice. I'm kind of leaning towards I'm glad I didn't use it just because of the dirt part. You can see the dirt in the pics and they do look like they have faded sitting in the sun but I'd have to wash the dirt off the really see the difference. I ended up just painting the fenders with the cans shown and it's holding up fine and much easier to touch up if you do nick it up. A good ole black sharpi pen works great also. Sorry that probably wasn't much help.

    Hey whytail3912,
Ya unfortunately the 200DC is only rated for a 200 which is complete BS. As big, solid and well built as this old boat is it's sad to have to underpower it that way. The 200, 225 and 250 pro xs all weigh 550 pounds so it stinks to have to drop down a few HP just to meet sticker rating. Anyway yes I dropped down to a 200 so we could fish tourney's and be honest about it. I got a 2013 for a great price.

Excellent job. Did you replace the material on the bottom of the locker lids. If so what did you use?

    That is a fantastic job !!! I’m sure it was just a typo....the 200, 225, and 250 Pro XS weigh 505 not 550.
