I wondered how in the world you ended up with a zook motor on a G3, as you can tell from my sig, I have Suzuki motor and love it.

I didnt know that G3 ever had glass boats.

Finally the Eagle has landed in my garage. It's a Talon 17 DLX.

I had to get a Mercury 90 4 stroke fitted by G3 Boats Australia. Yamaha Australia do not sell the Yamaha 90 4 stroke (only 70,80 and 100) and I did not want a 2 stroke 90 HP Yamaha which they do sell.

Its on a custom made fully galvanized Savage Trailer. Has a Dual Pro 45 amp 3 Bank on Board Charger, 2 x 100AH Lifeline AGM DC batteries, 1 x Ultimate Extreme 800CCA cranking battery. I fitted a Humminbird 598 SI sounder to the bow and a 698 SI sounder in the dash. It has a Minn Kota Riptide I-Pilot trolling motor (the boat is not dispatched from G3 with Graphs, Trolling Motor, trailer and batteries if its destined for the Australian Market).

Soon to come will be a full Bluewater LED lighting kit for boat and trailer, Fusion sound system, rod tubes and an alarm.

She does 43.5 MPH WOT but I should get about 46 when the correct prop is fitted.

    Boat 09 29 2015 ready to go fishing.jpg

Boat ready to go chase some Aussie Bass, Bream, Snapper, Mulloway and Flathead. Great boats even if I do say so myself - much better for Rivers and Lakes than anything Australian manufacturers have to offer.

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Boat before I fitted Graphs, custom registration numbers and Terrova Riptide I-Pilot TM. And my fishing buddy who is in training - wants to be the next dog in a Trace Adkins or Justin Moore music video.

Anyone know why G3 stopped making the 180? I always thought it was a great boat for the money.

Like the looks of these boats...have a Lowe Condor Limited Ed. and it has the modified V...it sure is nice to fish out of with 2 or more people but if you have whitecaps it will pound the chit out of you. Willing to sacrifice the speed for the comfort in fishing. 2 guys can stand together on the bow and not have a problem. Really enjoy fishing out of the mod V's.
Sacred Heart of Mary, pray for us now, and at the hour of our death. AMEN
O blood and water which gush forth from the heart of Jesus, have mercy on us
For the sake of his sorrowful Passion, have mercy on us and the whole world

Have loved driving and fishing out of mine - and I came from a Ranger Z20.

2004 g31756 dlx 50hp yam. 30mph on GPS, was 33mph before I added the lockers. 75# mg. Hbird 525 & 141c, I know, the newest and only the best! That is the next upgrade.
Added two storage lockers, rod locker, lights in all and on deck, trim switch up front, 12v socket up front, moved start batt up front (to make room for the extra tm batt). Added a tachometer also.

Sharp Boats to all! I fished a jackpot last summer with a guy who bought a brand new 19 ft G3 with the twin poles and a 150 yamaha. Afterwards I went over and drooled.
