    Re: G3 Pic Thread (Bubbatn)

Same exact boat that i have...beautiful boat...problem is the holes in the transom that have eaten through due to the chemicals in the marine plywood. Have you had this issue...evidently they have been quite few 2003 G3 boats that are defective? H an anyone heard of this...does anyone run your boat in salt water at all? I wil post oen pics fo my boat as well...looks great from a distance but really bad up close....

I've seen your posts about the problems you're having with your G3. I have an 04 HP180 DC and haven't seen any problems. Is your problem due to an interaction of the transome wood preservative with salt water, or is in in fresh water boats as well? How many year's productions are affected by this- does it affect the 2004 boats, from what you've heard? Thanks for the info.

    Re: G3 Pic Thread

Well I finally got around to taking a pic yesterday... Is from the cam phone. Could have been better I guess... Its going for sale here shortly. I fly to Iraq for an extended field trip next month and am going to upgrade to something in the 20ft with atleast a 200 when I return. Possibly looking for a HP200 once I get back. I am a very big fan of the G3 product.
Its a 07 Eagle 175 with the FTLR90 on it. Up here at 4900ft altitude and a 21 pitch prop I turn around 5600rpm. Somewhere in the 44-45mph range with just me in the boat.
Great boat and I love it! Just not a big water boat. Going to be fishing bigger water tourny's when I return.
U.S. Army retired, 21yrs 5m and 1day. Its all behind me now!! My son and Bass fishing is what keeps my mind right these days!!

Yes, but the experiences that I have had with them has been less than steller. I bought this one from S. Austin Marine, great dealer that has given me very good service!
