    My fish and ski

    ski pole installed

    bimini up

    troll motor

    Pros
Seats up to 4 well, 5 becomes more difficult as the front bucket must be used
Seating can be reconfigured many ways
great speed and acceleration with lower power. Loaded to fish with 2 people 79/80 and 85 light by myself with a 2.5 200.
    huge divided livewell
50lb troller moves the boat great due to it it being so light

Cons moving from the front deck to the back. Rod locker will only hold 5 to 8 rods and sleeves are helpful, best to store them on the front deck
Less room than a traditional 20' fish and ski as the rear deck is large, front deck is moderate

I can get 48mph if conditions are perfect............which isn't bad for a 150. I did just get a Turbo 1 stainless prop - so I should be able to pick up at least another mph or 2. Haven't put it on yet, will have to wait for spring to do that............

Re: My fish and ski (xb03fs)

Just noticed this forum!! Be nice not to get ridiculed for having a F&S somewhere!!!
Here is mine, Stratos 290SF with a Yamaha 200vmax. Only had the boat since September, so any setup tips would be appreciated. Running a 23 Tempest at 5600 RPM at 59.6mph. Have a 6 inch jackplate on the way! Take care, Steve

Here is the one i just got rid of, good times in this old girl though,

Not quite as pretty or fast as Bryan's, but I still love it. Need a different prop and would like to add a jackplate someday when the funds allow.

I've seen 73mph loaded with me and half tank of gas. That was with a 25P Mazco HP4..I've since put a 24p TXP on it.I haven't GPS'd it again but it feels like its running faster.I need to try a 25P cause i'm on the limiter with the 24P..

Oh and i'm glad ya'll made this forum.. and thanks for the compliments..I bought the boat from a guy who hardly used it.It had 18 total hrs on it when i got it in oct.09'..Now it has 28hrs...lol
