I assume way different. Mine is a Viper.... if there is a panel in the front, use your phones video camera and record what it looks like underneath.

Only help I'll offer is, do it. You'll have no regrets at all and wish you'd done it sooner. I did an old Ranger, I made a template out of plywood for the hole in the deck. Set it in place and plunge cut around the template with the saw set no deeper than the thickness of he deck. Then trimmed the corners out with a sawzall. Just take the time to locate the hole for your fishing style. Put the seat in and find out what the best location is.

Just wanted to give some insight. I have a '96 cobra 201D. I recently installed a recessed tray. 2 major tips to help you out. Buy a painters drop cloth ($2) and covered the area while doing the cut out to save fiberglass from getting on your floor. Its a messy job. 2nd and most importantly. I went 13" forward from the front seat post per install recommendations. DO NOT go any further forward. My boat had a fiberglass enclosure that held the foam. You can see where i drilled a hole in it to place the drain hose for the recessed tray. I would of had to cut through had i went an inch more forward potentially exposing the foam to significant moisture. The foam is a pain to cut out but just takes a little extra time. Hope this helps anyone in the future looking to do this install. I used polyurethane on the exposed wood to help seal it after I cut through the deck and used silicone on all the screws and around the lip of my recessed tray during the install to help keep moisture out as well.
