Question Looking for ideas on front deck storage compartment

Havent paid a lot of attention to the newest Tritons but on my 2010 21xs there are two storage compartments on the front deck, along with two rod lockers. The back box (closest to stern) has dividers in it to hold plano boxes, which i like, but the front box, which runs way up towards the front of the boat, is wide open. Has anyone came up with a good way to divide it up to keep all your stuff from going all over the place in ruff water. Its a real pain in the a$$ when you need something and its slid practically to the nose of the boat and you cant reach it. Surely im not the only person who has encountered this.

I use the front on mine for life vest, throw cushion,
Rope, things like that. I don't want much weight up there.
I believe plano makes a tray that holds 3700 boxes,
    That may work for you

Flambeau introduced a simple, yet effective system for tackle tray management with its Terminal Tackle File Satchel.

You can also buy something similar to fit the larger boxes. Home depot or Lowes carries those types of containers.

I put the front seat and pole in there and and few small bags but not much else. Every ten pounds in the bow cost you 1 mph in speed and you don't need to carry everything you own in the boat.

Not saying you are wrong but where do you find this info. at? Wouldn't it also depend on the length of the boat and how much setback you have with a jackplate? So it might be more or less than 10 lbs based on this information correct?

Look I'm just talking about 4 or 5 Tupperware boxes with different small stuff in them. And frankly I don't buy the whole 10 pounds to 1 mph correlation.

I put an adjustable bar, ex: window curtain hanger, across the bottom of mine that partitions off the space needed. This keeps the boxes from sliding forward. In front of this bar I keep my regular type PFD's to take up the dead space and keep as little weight forward as possible.

I went to Dollar General and box $2 snap lock storage containers and put jigs, works, crank baits and other lures in them and stacked them anthem along with tackle binders and spools of line.

What is that fly reel setup used for? Is that a 4-piece travel rod?
