    Water pressure guage

2003 XR6 serial 0T 166017 model 1150454AD. Put on a selenoid yesterday now water pressure guage at idle is 25. Are these two related or did the guage decide to go out today. Should I try blowing out the hose?

What kind of solenoid did you replace? What is max pressure of gauge? What is your normal idle psi? Did it act normal once thermostats opened and motor warmed up?

If the gauge does not ZERO when engine is OFF, replace it. It froze... and it "lies".

I tore one apart. Might be interested to take a look. Sounds like water froze in yours as it did mine
