Hydrowave help

Hi Guys.
Im about to fit my first Hydrowave. I know most people fit to electric but i have 2 tranducers mounted to the bottom and its another cable to have on the front deck to get caught on. Im contemplating transom mounting the speaker and this means the head unit will be at the console. Just looking for a bit of feedback on the pros and cons for either mounting option.

In my experience, it won't matter. It'll scare fish away on whichever end of the boat you put it on. I just sold my HW after owning it for 3+ years. That's all it ever did for me.

I have mine mounted on the side of my jack plate, I extended the wire to be long enough to reach. As far as to how good they are #1 the goon birds go crazy when they are around my boat. #2 In my experience it has never scared off the bass, I have had schools of bass around and under my boat while using the Hydrowave #3 I think that the sound that the Hydrowave make help hide sounds from trolling motors and other sounds coming from the boat.
