I just bought a 17 ft Ragin Cajun in the Fall and it'd killing me looking at it setting in the garage. I'm glad that I purchased it in the Fall I have a long list of items I've replaced since I bought it. I'm addicted.

Congrats on joining the Cajun family!! I love my 1987 ricky green fishing machine.
I have one exactly like yours, except mine is single console and has a Yamaha 115. When you do run it, I would like to know how it handles with the 150.
Will do. I was rather surprised a 17 ft boat with a 150 hp and four bladed prop. Post a picture of what you have, I enjoy seeing all of the versions that Cajun made. I haven't come across a dual console 17 ft Ragin yet. I'm not one who worries about top end speed and I want my 17 year old to get some experience not only towing the boat but also driving it so, I think the 150 is enough...haha.

I'm running a 1991 178 DC Pro Sport, Evinrude 150 Intruder. I bought this boat new.
Post a picture I would love to see it. The one I have is a dual console, roughly 17.6 with the 150 Intruder. Not sure what it would have been called from the factory? The titles become a little fuzzy after 24 years..

94 18' Dual console with 150 Yamaha
Bought this 1992 Rajin Cajun late last fall. Cant wait to get it in the water this spring. 150 Intruder. Needs a little buffing up but in pretty good condition.
Looks just like the 91 Ragin Cajun I bought this fall. Dual console and 150 Intruder as well. I can't tell but it looks like the same deck layout as mine. My only dislike so far is it is very difficult to access the bilge and pump area. You only have two little access panels in the back.

I bought a 91 Ragin Cajun last year with a 94 mercury XRI 2.5 150hp and hydraulic jack plate . I removed the passenger console and made it a single . This this RIPS with a 24p stainless prop And would have no problem running a 25p . For being a 17 foot boat with a 150 it handles it pretty well .I tried to post picks on here but cannot seem to get it to work.
i have an 87 ragin cajun dual console with a 115 merc on it. I bought it from a friend who had a 150 on it. He said it would go 70 mph with the 150 but the back end sat real low in the water when it wasnt running. i noticed that even with my 115 it sits low and gets a lot of water over the transome so a 150 would seem worse. the hull is amazingly stable though when its running. I'm working on doing a rewire on it now and can't wait to get it back on the water.

Ran a '94 209 for 14 years. It still is a tank, very heavy and slow. Solid boat though. Well built.
I got a 97 Travis edition. 17'1",with a 98 Johnson 115 fast strike. My dad bought it new and I am the owner now
mine is a 97 travis edition. love it. also have an 86 fishin machine. gonna restore it "one of these days". lol !!
Pretty sure I ran into cmsskeeter a few weeks ago at the Delavan boat ramp getting off the water before the storm rolled in. I kept telling my buddy that you had the same boat with different colors. I have been rewiring the birds nest that came with mine but love running it.
