It doesn't make much difference, they aren't that far apart and generally fish just the opposite of each other so when one is not producing, the other probably is......

Just moved to Lavkeview myself. Got a slip at the Lakeview marina and loving life here so far. I'm semi-retired and got a no-stress job at Ranger boats in Flippin to help pass the time and make some gas money for the boat!

Any good realtors around the area's? Would like someone who will put in the effort to locate a decent home outside of Mountain Home or around the twin lakes area.

Call Century 21 Realty and ask for Kent Smith. We have had several transactions with Kent, very knowledgeable and HONEST

Mike Goar from Beaman Realty just helped me on my purchase last week. I live in Nebraska and he made it painless.

Also, Beaman Realty's website has the entire MLS catalog online for you to review. I mostly used Zillow as the interface when shopping online and sorting is easier on Zillow but there can be a day or three lag between MLS and Zillow.

I had a lot of fun looking and there is a TON of property available in the Lakeview/Bull Shoals/Mountain Home area right now. Mike and I looked at 18 houses Sunday and Monday and we made an offer Tuesday. One counter offer and it was accepted by Friday.

My son lived in MH for 4 years when he worked for Eaton Corporation. He lived off Hwy 5S right off the 10 minutes from loop on 3 acres. 10 minutes from Norfork, 15 minutes from the White River. Lakeview is also a very nice area. Beautiful place. If you like to fish or hunt it's the perfect place.

It sounds like you guys really pounded the pavement. Of all the smaller towns, which one did you like the best? We are starting to consider a retirement home close to one of the lakes.
