    Express CC or Bayboats?

Just checking to see if anyone has any experience in the 18' Xpress CC or the 18' bay boats? Quality, ride, fishability? Any comparison to similar G3, Lowe, or Alumacraft boats?

I had a glass bay boat and really enjoyed fishing out of it, but have no clue how the aluminum versions would compare or ride.
Boatless again but looking forward to Spring

The Xpress HydroDynamic hull versions are a mod-v hull ....... and will ride just like pretty much all mod-v hull aluminum boats.
The Xpress Hyperlift hull versions are a pad hull with a deep V front ....... thus they ride really well and can run pretty fast ....... just like a pad hull fiberglass boat would.

Other than that, we got some guys on here with a few of the CC Hyperlift boats with various HP's. I want to say most of them are 20/21/22'ers though.

    Hope that helps some.

Thanks, that seems to be the difference between their bay boats and their CC boats, so good to know

FWIW: I have an H20B and I purchased it over the G3 because of the Hyperlift hull.

All depends if you want just a fast aluminum hull, or a slower but much better built with more attention to detail with actual dry storage....

I have the xp20cc and love it. It rides a lot drier than other tin boats I've used. In a chop you will notice the lack of a true v in the hull, but for what it is, it's not bad. The only complaint I have is that it seems to fall off of plane around 19-20 mph (weight distribution may help). I've got a Yamaha 115 with a Hustler 13.25x17 prop and get 45mph gps, plenty fast for me.

What 115hp do you have 2 or 4 stroke? What RPMs are you turning to get 45mph with that 17 pitch prop?
