Think I have screwed and glued about everything I want to mine??? Except for maybe.....Blue Water LED lights on the bunks, decks and storage, a second Power Pole, Group 31 AGM's, hydraulic jackplate, hydraulic steering, hot foot, blinker trim, another Ninja Grass Blade and I'm sure I could think of more lol

Being retired is nice as you don't have to compete as much with other folks fishing and the wake boats/skiers etc. I have found Tuesdays overall seem to be the best days to fish after a weekend as the fish calm down from all the traffic. Ranger, you need to come out during the week and enjoy it.

I would post modifications on my RT188 but finishing up my 4th year of ownership I don't have any, unless you count the modification made to the stainless steel skeg protector that looked like it got mugged this summer in Canada I work, I fish, any extra time goes to the endless list of home modifications and maintenance dreamt up by the Mrs. and that required from owning two properties. Yea, I know, cry me a bucket. But hey, I did catch a 4 lb. 10 oz. largemouth this evening

Yeah the heavy modifications are what make this section great. I wish more folks were decking out 2072s and such. It makes good reading. I admit I get kind of tired of seeing threads about worrying about getting an extra 1/2 MPH out of their tin rig.

I did not know that the rear deck on that 1875 Lund was that big.

I'd like to see how to run the wires for blue water led lights back from the bow. Been looking at my RT for awhile and don't know the best way to do it.

Take out the trolling motor pedal pan.. You can see from the console all the way to the bow.

Well it's not boat related. But I got a new toy.

Just put in some Weather Tec floor mats. And a tonneau cover. Just before we left for Florida.

Rough country lift coming. And a lot more Overlander type gear to.

agree with this 100%. I never go on weekends. been doing it this way for at least 20 yrs. Tuesdays are definitely the best. never anyone else there. if you go on Monday, you get to see all of the fish pointlessly killed by the tourney on sunday. really was quite depressing to see all of the floaters at the ramp.

The last time I went out before my shoulder surgery I did a prop mod. The zinc trim tab came loose and got caught in the prop and mangled it up pretty good. The noise it made had me thinking my motor was about to give up. Some guy pulled up along side of me to check on me and said it sounded like a shifting issue. Suddenly everything smoothed out and the boat ran pretty normal. It wasn't until I got home that I saw the prop all chewed up. Funny thing is, I can go 25mph with the 25hp Merc and on the way back I didn't push it and still went 20mph.
I just ordered the replacement prop and zinc. The shoulder is good enough to allow me to cast under hand with wrist so I'm going out next weekend!!!!!

tcesni Nice Canadian Largie. What part of Canada are you fishing in? I have caught some nice LM this year but the big smallies have been elusive. I'll be fishing Georgian Bay Tuesday and hoping the big smallies will make an appearance. I have yet to catch one over 4 lbs this year, but I'll get my chance on the Bay.
