No.....There is a specific sequence in the Service Manual for powerhead fasteners. Some nuts get tightened to a different torque than others, this is why the torque specification is not listed here. If the procedure is not followed properly you can WARP a cylinder wall.

I usually don't torque these either, but I had the torque wrench out already so...…

    Thanks!

I'm not sure what this is called but I didn't see any torque spec listed that seemed to be for it. It is the nut for the ground cable to the lower unit. I appreciate any help you could offer. As you can see my ground cable is broke and I will be replacing it. 20200406_081624.jpg

The NUT that retains the lower engine mount to the Swivel YOKE should torqued to 90 lbs/ft. You must hold the BOLT head (under the lower mount cover) when loosening or tightening the nut.

Anybody know the torque specs for oil crankcase check valve? The brass one in the block under the starter? Did I miss it on the list?

Never seen one listed for that fitting, since it's a PIPE THREAD (tapered) fitting that does not fully seat.

    Idler Tensioner torqe

Can anyone please tell me what's the torque for the idler tensioner as in the picture? Is it 75 in/lbs? That barely holds the bolt in place.
    Thanks.
