The RT178 has plenty of places for a cooler but I would rather keep gear in there. The coleman stacker cooler fits good under the console and has raised edges on the lid for keeping your phone,keys or other items on top and they stay put.

It fits under the console of my 188 great. A buddy gave me a Yeti, almost the same size and Polar rivals it in quality. I like being able to grab it and take it with me. The little red cooler didn’t come with my 2017 RT. I got standard Baystar instead. I’ll take that swap all day! I grab which ever isn’t in my wife’s car. If it’s a day trip I use the Polar ice and throw it back in the freezer when I get home. If traveling I fill it at the hotel. Either of them will keep stuff cold a long time.
Sign up on Polars website and a couple times a year they do BOGO sales. They monogram for about ten dollars each. They make great gifts at half price.
