    Leak in slideout

When I put my slideout out, im getting wet areas around my table and dripping from the light thats in the ceiling of the slideout, when it rains. Ive checked the obvious areas and resealed a couple, but the problem still persists. Any thoughts on where to check. 2005 Nomad 2980

Only leaks with the slide out? I'd get out my ladder and inspect every square inch of the slides roof.

If your slide has a rubber roof, you are getting water under from somewhere, most likely around one of the edges. Hopefully you do not have any soaked wood or soft spots. I would put some of this around the edges: http://www.ebay.com/itm/191057580912...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT Ebay has been the best place I have found to get it.

Ethernabond is a good roof tape. Dicor is a good roof sealant. Both can be found at any RV dealer.

Check the seal as well right where the sidewall meets the slideout.

Many Youtube video's. Here is one.

Good luck. Chasing RV water leaks can be a pain.

Yea it only leaks with the slide out. I will reseal all the edges first thing in the spring and go from there. Roof is all intact

It usually gets in around the edges.

run your slideout about 2/3 in and feel right behind your trim if it is not calked they over looked caulking. You need 2 people to calk one holding a mirror and one running the bead down the complete top of the slide.
