Out with old and in with the new, not so fast!

Looking for good deal on 820XS own 1020XS units (new or used) when the newer gamins are released in January. Open to 70s or 70dv but not preferred.

Current setup networked through GVC-10:
Bow: 70dv Transducer mounted on Trolling motor
Console:840XS P-79 airmar transducer mounted in hull.

I'd prefer to operate three transducers for offshore bass boating and only way I can accomplish this is through ethernet port type units connected through GVC-10. As much as i'd like to get a 93v it seems the best solution (for me) is to add a 70s, 70dv, 820xs or 1020XS to my current setup. This should allow me to network amy TM150 Chirp transducer to a 820XS or 1020XS to share transducer through GVC-10 box. This would be the optimum setups that fits my offshore fishing. I should be able to share waypoints, MaxDef maps and transducers for all three units the GVC-10 box.

This is how I anticipate my setup to be adding a third Garmin Unit with Ethernet Port (70s, 70dv, 741xs, 820XS or 1020XS.

1. 840XS-1 with P-79 for higher speeds.
2. 840XS-2, Transom mounted 150M Chirp transducers for idling ledges and humps
3. 70dv at bow Trolling motor unit.

How do you like the 70's picked one up with a Airmar P-66 want it for dedicated panoptix...thoughts I know bigger is better.

Love my 70dv. Awesome unit. Never one hiccup, touch screen works as advertised, I share waypoints and MaxDef map from my 840xs. I'm not ruling out 70dv or 70s but looking for used 840/820 or 1040/1020 unit because of my aging eyes.
