Not only is it a good value and fast. It is still one of the best riding boats on the water. It is big, stable, well thought out and built. Plus Charger is a family owned American company that has been in business for over 35 years.
that hull looks a little gamblerish.looks like a air trapping hull with a little gull to it.i must say its a good lookin boat best ive seen from the charger camp.and the speeds are up to snuff now too!sweat! the windsheilds are for looks as they conform to the console but it wouldnt look right without them
Is that the final design on the consoles? If so, I'm a little surprised that they would just leave them as big white gelcoat panels and not put a nice wood or carbon fiber piece behind the gauges. That passenger console looks a little stark with a big white flat area with a glove box stuck in the middle of it. Not as upscale as I'm used to seeing in a Charger.
I have always liked the Chargers...But this console configuration looks very much like the ones on the Warrior that was posted here on BBC a good while back... not at all attractive. The boat is really nice, but the console shape takes away from what could be a really sleek design overall. They look like an afterthought.
Pretty sure they could make consoles which hold all that, but still be good looking. As said, I really like the boats, but IMHO, they really could do better with the design. The boats themselves are great looking, and I know they perform well.
This shows how big the 797 dash is,the first is a Champ with a small graph and gauges ...pretty tight fit.The second is the 797 with a hds 10 and gauges with 4 inches of extra room.
Not beating on any brand ,but to get all this in the dash it has to be big....and pics just dont show how big it is.A 210 Champ would fit inside the 797...Funny story we were at the boat show and a guy said he wanted one ,but wants a HDS 10 in the dash I said it has one ...he said dang it look small like a 8 champ dash.jpg797 dash.jpg

Matt, I think Lea needs to look at a lot of the new models from the other brands. Many are using the same style. The skeeter and Nitro consoles I know are getting bigger. But like you said, the boats are bigger and wider too. I have to admit, I didn't care for them at first, but they are really growing on me.
