    Mark croxton Tempest

Just got my Tempest back from mark,It was a real POS from the get go,no lift and no top end. Ran it yesterday and it ran 6 mph faster than before.I know this is not the case with all props ,but Mark did wonders on it.And now it is 2 mph faster than my turbo at 100 rpms less .It has a ton of lift ,good hole shot and real good top end.I did not play with the plate ,so I might even get more out of it.I dont think it handles as good as the Turbo (the turbo just seems to take waves a little better)
Ill play with it and see what happens at LOZ ,but speed it is faster.
It was well worth the 225.00 to get it rolling. Now you might not see this big of a difference ,but if you dont have any lift than Mark be the way to go .

Re: Mark croxton Tempest (TOUCH OF CLASS)

I have a great hole shot on my tempest but it would be nice to get at little more mph and lift. Mine is factory an not a ding on it. Could he improve on that and I keep my hole shot? If so, I may pull it off this fall and send it to him. I don't have a spare so I'll have to wait till I stop fishing and start hunting.

dont know for sure Iam going to play with the height ad see if i can get some more out of it.As was i just stuck it on a gave her hell,it was 2 mph faster than my 25 turbo at the same height.I am sure i can raise it a 1 inch more and speed should could come up.68 and change is were its at now.My 27 turbo lightning would get 69.9 ,but the hole shot was slowwww. Iam happy with this speed I think it is pretty good for a 2000 lbs+ boat with a 225.A 300 and I would be at 78 to 80.

    Matt,
Bring that thing down here and let me strap it on my 250xs. 75 might not be out of the question.
