    Terrova 101 rebuild

After 8 years, the motor bearing squeaks at low speed and the motor vibrates at higher speed. Sounds like it is time for a new bearing...

For all of $25 (plus shipping) I can replace the bearing, brushes, and seals. Pretty good deal.

Just wondering if there are any other parts to replace or maintenance to perform while I've got the lower unit open?

    TIA!

Depending on how mechanical you are, the Terrova is probably one of the hardest trolling motors to replace bearings, brushes, and seals on. Other than the armature and a flange bushing, that is all that is in the lower unit that is replaceable. I don't think you need an armature from your description, but I would consider the flange bushing. I keep these parts in stock.
