Height of a sun tracker motor
We have a 2015 24' sun tracker with a 115 mercury outboard. When I try to trim up the motor it starts sucking air. It still has two holes to lower the motor, will it be ok to lower the motor so I can trim up and gain a little more speed?

Yes, to answer your question, you could lower your motor. You shouldn't have to though, unless its mounted high on the transom. How high are you trimming it while underway, and help us understand "sucking air". Do you mean cavitating and prop slipping? What kind of speed are you currently getting? What diameter and pitch prop is on the boat?

if you can't trim at all without getting prop slippage, then yes i would drop the motor a notch
