I have been through the same stuff with my son years ago. On October 23rd 2003 at 1:49 p.m. I was told my 15 year old son had bone cancer. After a couple years of chemo and surgerys hes still here with us and has a son of his own.

I know what you mean about no rivers or lakes. When my son was fighting his bone cancer he couldn't be out in the sunshine a lot. Bad part is he loved to fish. We did get a couple of good trips in right before he was diagnosed. Good luck and prayers be with you and your family. We do what we need to do for them. Enjoy the good days they make the hard ones a little easier.
