I ran across these terms reading some old posts on here the other day,
and was wondering what the differences between the two were????
And where my 1987 184 F/S fits into the mix???
More of a curiosity than anything else!!!

Basically, Super V is what they used to call the Elites, and Super Champ is the series with less extras.
I will have to check brochures to see if I can tell what your 184 is....
Thanks Lea!!
Im curious to know but my boat is a great one either way!!
I have come a long way on the restore and hope to have some pics I can put up real quick!!!

According to 87 brochure, the largest Super Champ F&S was the 176. It shows a 184 F&S, no series mentioned, tho they show a 201 F&S as "Tournament".
There is no F&S in the Super V series. Super Vs in 87 were all single console. All this info might have changed, as much was switched back and forth during a given year.
The older brochures were not very detailed, so this is the best I can do for ya!!!!
Thanks for all the effort!!!
I didn't figure there were any real significant differences!!
If the hull is the same the ride will be too!!!
Kevin

As I posted above, there were no F&S models in the Super V series for that year. Also, all Super Vs of that year were single console. F&S models have dual consoles.
