That black stuff sure is purdy, whats that saying...once you go black...
I really like the same.color deal. That's pretty sharp. When I have you do mine I might do it like that.
All 3 are awesome but that bug is really cool...

Is there a benefit to he ss over the aluminum? I have not seen many posts re the benefits actually experienced? Any negatives?
ss is alittle stronger and will last longer.
Finally got to run my boat yesterday for the first time since I added the foil from Chris. Full tanks of gas (52 gallons), livewells full, 2 Talons with brackets and tilts (150#)and 2 guys 250# each. The boat leaped out of the hole and at 17 MPH I was on plane. I cannot be more pleased and the boat has never been able to do that before no matter what prop I had. I did change props from a 25 pitch to a 23 pitch so had RMP increase of like 400. Had it powder coated to match my Mercury and it looks like it is a part of the motor. Had a lot of compliments at yesterday's tournament.
I highly recommend if you are having hole shot problems.
Thanks again Chris
John
I've been running one of Chris's hole shot plates and a titanium foil I made years ago. With the hole shot plate I can come out of the hole with all the props I currently own (28's to 34's) with 1.62 gears. With out the hole shot plate I had to do donuts and maybe get on plane with the 32's. Don't misunderstand me, the hole shot isn't a rocket ship but at 4300 ft elev nothing is a rocket ship in those prop sizes. The hole shot plate does what it's designed to do.
