    Storage trays ????

Looking to add some sturdy trays in the bilge area. They need to sit over the gas tank on the lip under the storage lid. Is this possible? And anyone have recommendations on what to use?

    Re: Storage

I recently purchased a '99 181 SC and the original owners had put these in the bilge box above the gas tank. I found something very similar, if not the same exact thing on Amazon. He modified them by just trimming them down slightly. Hope this helps.

That's a neat little setup there. I might have to utilize that on my 181! Thanks for posting.

Nice job here. So what did you use to trim/cut the plastic storage tray? A fine tooth saw like a hacksaw or a dremel tool? Please let me know.

Just use a dremel. Way faster and a cleaner cut.

Thank you so much for getting back to me on this. I kinda figured a dremel tool would be the tool of choice. just wanted to check though.
